A ballast stabilizer for a high intensity discharge lamp is provided to reduce an environmental waste and maximize productivity through cost reduction by not using a bobbin. A ballast stabilizer for a high intensity discharge lamp includes a power factor improving condenser, a transformer(30), and an igniter. The power factor improving condenser increases a power factor of the inputted AC power. The transformer sustains standard power of an HID(High Intensity Discharge) lamp. The igniter stops after lighting the HID lamp by receiving a tap power of the transformer, charging and discharging with high speed and inducing a high pressure pulse to a second side. The transformer includes a core(31) and a coil(32). The coil is formed by an aluminum material and assembled to the core by being aligned and wired without a bobbin at once. |
