A print head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase energy efficiency of a heater layer, to preclude excessive heat from being transferred to an ink chamber, and to improve ejecting or printing efficiency of ink by installing the heater layer in which a heat transferring part and other parts have different heights. A print head comprises a substrate(210), a heat insulating layer(220), and a heater layer(230). The substrate has an upper part an ink chamber(270) and a nozzle. The heat insulating layer is deposited on the substrate. The heater layer is deposited on the heat insulating layer and installed with a heat transferring part(232). The thickness of the heat insulating layer is non-uniform. The part corresponding to the heat transferring part is thicker than the other parts. A lead wire layer(240) is deposited on the heater layer to apply current to the heater layer. A protective layer(250) is deposited on the heater layer and the lead wire layer.
