摘要 <p>In order to implement image processing of moving image data, which can obtain a dodging-like effect, extraction processing of low-frequency components must be added to playback processing of a moving image, thus requiring high processing cost and high processing performance. Hence, in case of a color correction frame which does not refer to another frame, brightness components are extracted from the entire color correction frame image to generate a brightness component image and low-frequency brightness component image. The color correction frame image is color-corrected using the brightness component image and low-frequency brightness component image. On the other hand, in case of a color correction frame which refers to another frame, a transition region of the color correction frame image is detected, and an update image region in which a low-frequency brightness component image must be updated is decided based on that region. Brightness components of the transition region are extracted from the color correction frame image, and are combined with those of a reference frame image, thus generating a brightness component image of the color correction frame. Low-frequency brightness components of the update image region are extracted from the brightness component image, and are combined with those of the reference frame image, thus generating a low-frequency brightness component image of the color correction frame. The color correction frame image is color-corrected using the generated brightness component image and low-frequency brightness component image.</p>
