CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE

A connector assembly for an electric car is provided to miniaturize the size of the connector assembly due to arranging a lever at a side of the connector and secure a mounting space by using a narrow operating radius. An end part of a shielding wire is connected to a female connector(100), and first projections(11) are formed on upper and lower surfaces of the female connector(100). A male connector(200) is connected to the female connector(100), and second projections(201) are formed on upper and lower surfaces of the male connector(200). A lever(50) includes the first arm, the second arm, and a connecting part. The second arm is actually horizontal to the first arm. The connecting part connects the first arm with the second arm. The first guide groove and the second guide groove are formed at internal sides of the first arm and the second arm. The first projections(11) are guided in the first guide groove when the male connector(200) is connected to the female connector(100). The second projections(201) are guided in the second guide groove. The first projections(11) are restrained in the first guide groove to allow the lever(50) to be in a state when the lever(50) is mounted in the female connector(100).
