An image is formed on a substrate (12) by spot forming region in which imaging spots are formed on the basis of the image data. Pieces of imagined imaging data obtained in advance under imagined image data obtaining conditions are stored and a correspondence between imagined image data obtaining conditions and the imagined image data are set in advance. An image data obtaining condition is obtained, the imagined image data obtaining condition corresponding to the image data obtaining condition is obtained, and the imagined image data corresponding to the obtained image data obtaining condition is identified out of the stored pieces of the imagined image data and the identified imagined image data is obtained as the image data. |
