<p>The invention relates to a moulding compound made of a synthetic thermoplastic material and a reinforcing component, wherein the technical problem of producing a high-grade material at low production cost, particularly for use outside, is solved by using a synthetic polyester, preferably a polyethylenterephthalate (PET) as synthetic thermoplastic material and by using an organic filler material, preferably small-sized wood or wood fibres, as the reinforcing component. The invention also relates to the production of moulded items made from said moulding material and the moulded items themselves.</p> |
