INPUT DEVICE WITH DISPLAY BUTTON AND PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

摘要

A display button input device and a portable electronic device having the same are provided to reduce a thickness of the input device by arranging a touch-screen interface on a display panel. An input device includes a button frame(10), a touch interface(20), a display panel(30), and a manipulation feeling generating unit(50). The button frame includes at least one transparent button window. The touch interface includes a transparent touch sensor corresponding to the button window, detects a touch on the button window using the touch sensor, and outputs the detected result as a touch signal. The display panel receives the touch signal and provides an image corresponding to the touch signal to the button window. The manipulation feeling generating unit receives the touch signal and generates a mechanical vibration, right after the touch signal is inputted.
