An antenna for a mobile terminal is provided to increase an overall length of the antenna by removing a fixing metal from a junction between respective stages of the antenna. A monopole antenna includes at least two pipe members having different diameters. Holding bumps which are bent inward, are formed on upper ends of an inner pipe member(P2) and an outer pipe member(P1). Lower protrusions which are bent outward are formed at lower ends of the inner and outer pipe members. A C-ring(30) having a radial elastic slice(31) is arranged between the inner pipe member and the outer pipe member, so that the inner pipe member slidably moves with respect to the outer pipe member. The inner pipe member is inserted into the outer pipe member up to a point, where lower ends(13) of the respective pipe members are aligned with each other.
