The invention relates to a composition for a paint receiving material, used particularly as a base layer in a multi-layer material, comprising (i) at least 50 wt. % gelatine, and optionally, the difference to obtain 100 wt. % of another hydophilic binding agent, (ii) at least one cross-linker of formula (I) and/or formula (II), wherein X, Y and Z represent, independently from each other, hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, carboxyl, alkoxy, amido, amino, carbonyl, alkoxycarbonylamino, halogenid or -OM, wherein M is an alkali metal and R1, R2, R3 represent, independently from each other alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, carboxyl, carbonyl, amido, amino or alkoxycarbonylamino, (iii) water and (iv) at least one solution that contains hydroxyl groups. |
