The invention concerns a device for easy and fast arrangement of ornaments in the hair. Said device (1) comprises essentially a loop (2, 10-11), preferably pointed at one end (3) and crimped at the other end (4) by a collet (6). The buckle co-operates with the ornaments and/or active elements (7) consisting essentially of a support (8) adapted to be slipped or otherwise clamped or arranged on or about said loop (2), and said ornament itself (9) integral with said support. The support is slipped (8) onto said loop (2), a hair lock is passed into said loop, the support (8) bearing the ornament (9), (by being slid along said loop (2)), is transferred onto said hair lock, and the device (1) is removed.
