<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish farming net made of a copper alloy capable of drastically improving durability including seawater resistance without deteriorating the characteristics inherent in a copper net. <P>SOLUTION: The fish farming net 3 has a lozenge-shaped wire mesh structure comprising a plurality of wire rods 6 each corrugated and arranged in parallel, provided that any adjacent wire rods 6 are entangled with each other at bent portions 6a thereof. The wire rods 6 each consists of a copper alloy having an alloy composition comprising 62-91 mass% Cu, 0.01-4 mass% Sn and the balance being Zn, wherein the Cu content [Cu] mass% and the Sn content [Sn] mass% satisfy the relationship: 62≤[Cu]-0.5[Sn]≤90. The copper alloy has such a phase structure that the total content of α-, γ- and δ-phases is 95-100% by area ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
