<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reducing the energy consumption which can be alternatively set to an operating mode or a standby mode. <P>SOLUTION: In the standby mode, the elevator device is separated from a main energy source, and connected to an auxiliary energy source, thereby keeping a basic function of the elevator device to be able to get into the operating mode later. The device includes a detecting means 19.1 for detecting a use criterion indicating a current using state of the elevator device. A power-saving means 11 equipped with a microprocessor 30 is provided for changing the elevator device from the operating mode to the standby mode when the use criterion is not satisfied and standby criteria are satisfied, and changing the elevator device from the standby mode to the operating mode when the standby criteria are not satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
