PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-place work bench which is easy to move in spite of a simple and lightweight structure, changeable in height according to the situation of a site, and easy to carry or stow by making the size compact when not in use. SOLUTION: This work bench comprises a base 1 having moving wheels 13 and 14, a floor frame 2 set on the base 1 and including a working floor 12 provided at an upper portion thereof, and a handrail 3 detachably mounted on the floor frame 2 so as to surround the working floor 21. The floor frame 2 includes a vertical cylindrical strut 22 provided integrally with the working floor 21, and an inner strut 24 fitted to the inside of the cylindrical strut 22 to be protrudable and retreatable, the lower end of which is disengageably connected with the base 1. Both the struts 22 and 24 are mutually connected by inserting a connecting pin 25 to an outer pin insert hole provided in the cylindrical strut 22 and to an inner pin insert hole provided in the inner strut 24. The outer pin insert hole is provided in a plurality of vertical positions of the cylindrical strut 22, or the inner pin insert hole is provided in a plurality of vertical positions of the inner strut 24.
