摘要 In a process for the production of an elastomer by cross-linking a polyurethane mass which has been obtained by reacting a diisocyanate with a linear polyhydroxy compound having a molecular weight above 1,000, and also, if desired, with a compound having a molecular weight below 1,000 and which contains two groups capable of reacting with NCO groups with an organic peroxide with simultaneous shaping, the cross-linking is effected in the presence of an organic compound which contains at least two polymerizable C=C double bonds. Polyesters, polyethers, and polyacetals are suitable compounds of molecular weight above 1,000. Those below this M.W. include butanediol, butenediol, butinediol, dichlorodiaminodiphenylmethane, dichlorobenzidine, N-di(b -oxyethyl)naphthylamine and an adduct of butenediol and anthracene. Compounds containing at least two C=C bonds specified are aromatic compounds with at least two vinyl groups; esters of polyhydric alcohols such as glycol dimethacrylate; esters of unsaturated alcohols, such as polyallyl esters of phthalic, silicic or phosphoric acids; ethers such as the allyl ethers of glycerol, hexa- or tetramethylolmelamines or saccharose; urethanes from polyisocyanates and olefinic alcohols; unsaturated polyesters; triacrylyl perhydro-s-triazine; and triallyl cyanurate. In Examples (1) and (2) the polyurethane mass is prepared from glycol/adipic acid polyester, butanediol and (1) 4,41-diphenylmethane diisocyanate or (2) hexamethylene diisocyanate. It is mixed with activated carbon black, dicumyl peroxide and triallyl cyanurate and cured in a press; (3) a polyurethane mass from the polyester and dicyclohexyl methane-4,41-diisocyanate is similarly cured.
