An apparatus for fixing a pouch of an automatic liquid packing machine is provided to preventing fingers gripping the pouch from making contact with each other by widening the fingers. An apparatus for fixing a pouch of an automatic liquid packing machine includes an operation unit, a chucking unit, and a detection unit. The operation unit includes a crank(112) and a pushing member(122). The crank converts the rotation of a drive motor installed in a fixing plate to a linear reciprocal movement of a horizontal operation plate(120). A slide shaft(123) linearly reciprocating together with the horizontal operation plate is fixed to the pushing member. The chucking unit includes a pair of fingers(130) chucking one side of an inlet of a pouch(180) supplied to a feeding pocket. One side of the chucking unit is fixed by the finger shaft to perform an opening/closing operation at a predetermined angle by allowing the slide shaft to make contact with both slide surfaces. The detection unit is installed on the inner sides of the fingers of the chucking unit to detect introduction of the pouch and the widened state of the inlet and maintain the widened state of the pouch.
