摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a secondary battery superior in high temperature storage characteristics by suppressing generation of gas due to reaction of a positive electrode and electrolytic liquid and increase of internal resistance under high-temperature storage.

SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with a positive electrode 13, a negative electrode 14, and an electrolyte 16. The positive electrode 13 comprises a positive electrode active material which contains at least one kind out of sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) near the particle surface of lithium compound oxide and the content of at least one kind of the sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) near the particle surface of the lithium compound oxide is higher than that inside the particle of the lithium compound oxide.
