PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charger for mobile device in which the height can be suitably adjusted, and to obtain a mechanism for adjusting the height. SOLUTION: The mechanism 90 for adjusting the height of a charger 100 is constituted of a housing 12, a leg 20, and a guide portion 30, and the leg 20 is moved relative to the guide portion 30 by switching the arrangement of the guide portion 30 for moving a piece 33 of the guide portion 30 along the cam 24 of the column 22 of the leg 20, and the arrangement of the leg 20 is switched to the extending direction of the column 22 thus switching the projecting/retracting length of the leg 20 from the housing 12.
