PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel burner in which mixing of a diluting air with solid fuel is accelerated to lessen a deviation of the concentration of the fuel fluid, capable of precluding an abnormal combustion and suppressing emission of nitrogen oxides. SOLUTION: The solid fuel burner is equipped with a fuel nozzle having a fuel transport pipe for jetting the fuel fluid as a mixture of the solid fuel and its carrier air and an air nozzle for combustion installed at the periphery of the fuel nozzle, and structured so that the fuel fluid jetted out of the fuel nozzle is injected into a furnace to undergo combustion together with the air for combustion jetted out of the air nozzle, in which inside the fuel nozzle a plurality of mixing parts are formed for the fuel fluid with the diluting air for diluting the fuel fluid jetted out of the fuel transport pipe upon supplying the diluting air to the downstream of the fuel transport pipe on the inside of the fuel nozzle, whereby the fuel fluid diluted bit by bit by these mixing parts is injected to undergo combustion together with the air for combustion led from the air nozzle.
