A forgery prevention paper is provided to show a latent image pattern through a copy paper, thereby easily checking whether the paper is genuine or forged, by making first lines for the latent image pattern thinner than second lines for a background pattern and arranging the first lines more densely than the second lines. A background pattern(10) and a latent image pattern(20) are printed on a paper. The background pattern is composed of first lines(12), which are parallel each other at a predetermined interval. The latent image pattern is composed of second lines(22) thinner than the first lines. Each of the first lines is diverged into two second lines. In the latent image pattern, an interval between the second lines is narrower than an interval between the first lines. |
