PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical base isolation system for a structure, which converts vibration force into rotary force of a receiving disk, smoothly performs absorption (buffering) of vibration (shocks) in all directions, has superior base isolation performance and superior durability in a simple structure, is easily mounted, is easily operated, and is suitable for mass production in low costs. SOLUTION: A base isolation receiving member A2 of a first base isolation device A comprises: a cylinder sleeve 5; the receiving disk 10; an upper spring receiver 15; a lower spring receiver 16; an inner spring 17; an outer spring 18; and a thrust bearing 20. A plurality of balls 12 are interposed between an outer peripheral surface of the receiving disk 10 and an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder sleeve 5. A base isolation receiving member B2 of a second base isolation device B comprises a cylinder sleeve 45, a receiving disk 50, a bearing receiver 56, and a thrust bearing 55. A plurality of balls 52 are interposed between an outer peripheral surface of the receiving disk 50 and an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder sleeve 45. Projections 1 and 40 slide on a curved recessed surface with vibration, and the receiving disks 10 and 50 turn around with vibration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
