PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bristle material for a brush, which is capable of reducing the falling of bristles, preventing falling-out of the bristles and reducing a manufacture cost as well. SOLUTION: In the bristle material 1 for the brush used for various kinds of brushes such as a car washing brush, a twisted brush, a washing brush, a rotor and a cleaning brush, a strip-like body 2 having a nearly fixed thickness for which many fibers are arrayed and laminated is formed, and a sheet-like adhesion layer 3 in which many fibers are joined together is laminated on the strip-like body 2 and formed.
