FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing of multi-purpose valve stems operated at high pressure and in aggressive media at temperatures of -60°C to +100°C. The movable joint seal incorporates a U-shaped sealing sleeve made of a self-lubricating material and furnished with inner and outer sealing sides in the form of ledges with flexible elements made of three, and more, grooved rings with different-width opposing-transverse slots furnished on edges arranged with its convex side towards the working medium feed side and separated by rings. On the sleeve base side, a safety ring is fitted with a rigidity exceeding that of the sleeve. ^ EFFECT: reliable tightness of the movable joint at high pressure and in aggressive media in a wide temperature range. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
