<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system capable of correcting the position of a stent even after moving a guide catheter backward. <P>SOLUTION: This stent delivery system S1 comprises the guide catheter 10 that is inserted into the stent 1 and inserted into a living body together with the stent 1, a push catheter 20 that is inserted in a living body together with the guide catheter 10 and pushes the stent 1 along the guide catheter 10, a stent connection thread 30 for connecting the stent 1 to the push catheter 20, and a stent release wire 40 that can be operated independently of the guide catheter 10 and releases the stent 1 from the push catheter 20 by releasing the connection of the stent 1 to the push catheter 20 through the stent connection thread 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
