PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance having or capable of having a calibrating device reduced in size, hard to be stained, usable in many purposes, and allowed to scan by a user. SOLUTION: The balance 1 has a measuring zone 3 and a balance housing 4. The balance housing 4 contains a measurement cell 15, and forms the rear wall 13 and the floor 8 of the measuring zone 3. A measured load receiving part 2 is installed on the cantilever arm 30 of the measurement cell 15. The cantilever arm 30 also holds the calibration weight 6 of the calibrating device 5. The measured load receiving part 2 is detachably fitted to a connection part 11 extending from the cantilever arm 30 through the opening 12 of the rear wall 13. The floor 8 expands between a weight receiving element 6 supporting the calibration weight 7 and the measured load receiving part 2 without an opening. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
