PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charger for mobile device in which the height can be suitably adjusted, and to obtain a mechanism for adjusting the height. SOLUTION: The mechanism 90 for adjusting the height of a charger 100 is constituted of a housing 12, a leg 20, and a slide 30. Any one among a plurality of front engaging portions 23a and rear engaging portions 23b, formed on the column 22 of the leg 20 along the vertical direction engages, respectively, with the front latch 35 and the rear latch 36 of the slide 30. The arrangement of the leg 20 is then switched to the extending direction of the column 22, made to correspond to the height position of the front engaging portion 23a and rear engaging portion 23b of the column 22 that engages with the front latch 35 and the rear latch 36 of the slide 30 and switches the projecting/retracting length of the leg 20 from the housing 12. The height of the housing 12 from the floor surface can be suitably adjusted, according to the length of the leg 20 extending from the housing 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
