PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain water treating device capable of achieving an air conditioner having a small longitudinal dimension and good maintainability. SOLUTION: The drain water treating device B is provided with an upper roller 36 horizontally provided in a turnable manner at the upper part of a vertical frame body 30; a lower roller 38 horizontally provided in a turnable manner at the lower part of the vertical frame body 30; a water retaining belt 42 endlessly wound on the upper roller 36 and lower roller 38 and disposed downstream in a ventilating direction (a direction of an arrow mark F) of a condenser 14 of the air conditioner; and a drain water receiving tank 44 holding the lower roller 38 in a submerged position in the tank.
