PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which stabilizes pushing force against a side wall of a seal groove in a seal lip without an influence by centrifugal force, and prevents a stick slip phenomenon of a sliding section in a seal lip from occurring when an outer ring rotates. SOLUTION: In the roll bearing, a roller 3 is disposed between both tracks 5, 6 of an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2, and the seal groove 4 having an elastomer 11 reinforced with a core 10 is attached to the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 2 opposite to the seal groove 7 formed laterally to the track 5 of the inner ring 1. The seal lip 13 is provided in the tip of a support 12 of the inner peripheral surface of a seal member 4. An axial gravity center G of the seal lip 13 is arranged on the axial center line of the inner end of the core 10 of the seal member 4. When the outer ring rotates, therefore, the axial shaking of the seal lip 13 is prevented, and the pushing force of the seal lip 13 against the track side groove wall 14 of the seal groove 7 is stabilized so as to prevent the stick slip phenomenon of the sliding section of the seal lip 13 from occurring.
