The heat-transfer surface consists of the metallic strips coiled as the spiral and also contains the alternating spheroidal segments having the different altitude. The altitude of the smaller spheroidal segment is less than the distance between twists of the metallic strips of the heat-transfer surface, and the altitude of the larger spheroidal segment is equal to the sum of the altitude of the smaller spheroidal segment and the distance between twists of the metallic strips of the heat-transfer surface. The curvature of the concave part of the smaller spheroidal segment is equal to the curvature of the salient part of the larger spheroidal segment, and after coiling of the metallic strips as the spiral the salient part of the larger spheroidal segment of one strip is matched with the concave part of the smaller spheroidal segment of the second strip.
