PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent penetration of foreign substances such as waste straws, etc., from a gap between a side cover for covering the transmission mechanism of a shaking sorting body and an air sending fan and a sidewall at one side of the right and left of a sorting apparatus from the outside and inclusion of the foreign substances to sorting air. SOLUTION: In the thresher 14 equipped with the side cover 45 for covering the transmission mechanism 42 of the air-sending fan 26 arranged at the outside of the sidewall 25a at one side of right and left sidewalls 25a and 25b from the side and a cover 51 for closing the gap between the side cover 45 and the sidewall 25a at the one side, the cover 51 is constituted of a rigid plate 51a fixed on the sidewall 25a at the one side and an elastic plate 51b attached to the tip of the rigid plate 51a and the elastic plate 51b is brought into contact with the side cover 45.
