FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for translation of a movable member relates to transfer mechanisms and incorporates a screw mechanism with a driving screw and a driven nut. The said device is designed to move rectilinearly the movable member in slideways. The nut fitted into the through cylindrical bore of intermediate cylinder is made in the form of a cylinder with a radial threaded hole to turn relative to the said intermediate cylinder bore axis. The intermediate cylinder fitted into the movable member cylindrical bore, the axis of which is perpendicular to the movable member preset direction, is made to shift along the cylindrical bore axis and to turn around the latter. The nut is made to shift along the intermediate cylinder bore axis. ^ EFFECT: decrease in harmful resistance and required torque. ^ 2 dwg
