PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily transport video data for three-dimensional display by utilizing the existent video data transport standard such as the HDMI standard.

SOLUTION: Video data for the unit of predetermined bits are applied to transmission from a source side device to a sync side device while using an individual transport line for each color data synchronously with a pixel clock. The video data to be transported from the source side device to the sync side device are defined as video data for three-dimensional display constituted of left eye video data and right eye video data and the left eye video data and the right eye video data are constituted of the predetermined number of bits, respectively for each pixel. As a transport status of both the data, either the left eye video data or the right eye video data are added to the other for the unit of one pixel and video data of one pixel are constituted of the double predetermined number of bits and transported in a timing synchronous with the pixel clock.
