PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set viewers group with advertising information when distributing the advertising information through digital broadcast, and to collect viewing histories of the advertisement on advertisement basis. SOLUTION: When received broadcast waves contain the advertising information, viewer property pre-registered in an IC card is cross-checked with a target ID appended to the advertising information to select and display the advertising information (an icon) matching to both of them(S3, S4). When a request operation for detail information is performed, the detail information is acquired through a link information. The detail information may be acquired through the broadcast wave (S11, S12) or from a home page through the internet (S17, S18). The detail information may be displayed in place of the program screen. If the viewer requests a stop of the display, display of the detail information stops (S14, S20).
