PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently curtail a memory capacitance for storing correction data. SOLUTION: Shading correction data 302 and digital image data are stored in an image memory, and also a digital image is preferentially held in an image memory 111 for holding the shading correction data 302 or the digital image. When the shading correction data 302 is not held in the image memory 111, a shading correction is not made, and the memory capacitance for storing the shading correction data 302 can be sufficiently curtailed, thereby curtailing a production cost of an imaging device having a shading correction function.
