PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enabling even information equipment which is not provided with any characteristic function to execute desired functions, and for reducing processing loads. SOLUTION: Information equipment for communicating with one or more external information equipment is provided with: a scanner means for optically reading a document to which an additional image is applied, and for generating scan data; a storage means for storing functional information showing the disclosed functions of the external information equipment for every external information equipment; a list display means for performing the list display of the functional information stored in the storage means for every external information equipment; an acceptance means for accepting the selection of the external information equipment based on the list display, a transmission means for transmitting the scan data to the external information equipment selected by the acceptance means; a reception means for receiving management information corresponding to the additional information to be transmitted from the external information equipment according to the reception of the scan data; and a display means for displaying the management information.
