<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system for railroad train power supplies which can most suitably regulate power consumed by the air-conditioning unit mounted in each of a vehicle of a plurality of railroad trains. <P>SOLUTION: The system for railroad train power supplies is provided in a power unit (30) mounted in an engine (10) of the railroad train (2), for receiving information from an information network (46) for transmission of the information between the power unit (30) and the air-conditioning unit (42 to 44), the system can estimate requirement relating to the power unit from each air-conditioning unit from this information, this requirement indicates power necessary for cooling and/or dehumidification of air in the installed vehicle, the system is characterized by including a converter (90), comprising a regulating module (100) for regulating the amplitude and or the frequency of a three-phase voltage output supplied to each air-conditioning unit, according to the requirement transmitted by each air-conditioning unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
