PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing gas clathrate, which sufficiently enhances the conversion ratio of raw material gas to gas clathrate. SOLUTION: The method for producing gas clathrate by reacting a raw material liquid with a raw material gas comprises a mixing/dissolving process for making the raw material gas into fine foams and mixing/dissolving the fine foams in the raw material liquid, a gas clathrate formation process for cooling the mixed/dissolved material while flowing it in a reaction pipe conduit to form gas clathrate and a gas clathrate aggregate crushing process for crushing a gas clathrate aggregate formed by the formed gas clathrate in the middle of the reaction pipe conduit.
