PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type screen in which the contrast of a display image is high and a variation in white balance is less. SOLUTION: The reflection type screen 10 comprises by bonding together in the following order: a light reflection layer 11 having substantially uniform reflectance in at least a visible wavelength region; a light absorption layer 12 absorbing part of transmitting light; and a light diffusion layer 13. The reflection type screen 10 displays an image by reflecting projection light from a projector, in which the light absorption layer 12 has such a light absorption characteristic that the absorption factor of a green wavelength region is greater than those of blue and red wavelength regions.
