LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION, AND COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition from which a phase difference layer excellent in the points of orientation and hardness can easily and inexpensively be produced; and to provide a color filter having the phase difference layer formed by using the composition, and a liquid crystal display device using the color filter.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition from which a phase difference layer excellent in the points of orientation and hardness can be produced contains a crosslinkable liquid crystal molecule, a silane coupling agent containing a mercapto group in the molecular structure, and a polyfunctional molecule having an alcoholic hydroxy group and a polymerizable functional group in the molecular structure.
