[PROBLEMS] To provide an actuator, which has excellent responsiveness with a simple constitution, and furthermore, detects an inclination angle of a controlling object at a high accuracy. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] When a current is applied to driving coils (C1, C2), an electromagnetic force is generated between the coils and a magnetic flux (f) passing through a gap (g), and a shaft member (12) is swung in a direction (ß1) or a direction (ß2), and the inclination angle (?) of a mirror (controlling object) (21) changes with a support center point (O) at the center. When the magnetic flux (f) passes through a detection coil (41a), an electromotive force generated at the detection coil (41a) is applied to a control section as a feedback signal. The control section generates a current based on the feedback signal, and applies the current to the driving coils (C1, C2). The constitution of the actuator can be simplified by detecting the speed by the detection coil (41a)when a mirror (21) is swinging. The actuator has excellent responsiveness and detects the inclination angle of the mirror (21) at a high accuracy.
