<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type hot water supply device for warming water residing in a functional component, without using a heater, and for reducing freezing of the functional component. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type hot water supply device is provided with a heat pump unit 1 boiling water for hot water supply, by exchanging heat with high temperature high pressure refrigerant, a hot water storage tank 2 storing water for hot water supply heated by the heat pump unit 1, a supplied hot water using side terminal, such as a bath tub to which water for hot water supply heated by the heat pump unit 1, is delivered directly or via an inside of the hot water storage tank 2, and the functional component, such as mixing valve having a function controlling flow of water for hot water supply and communicating to the inside of the hot water storage tank 2 or the supplied hot water using side terminal.
