PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide USB equipment 30, a host 10 and a USB connection system 1, for which the operation control of hardware reset or the like can be executed from the host 10 to the USB equipment 30 using a standard USB cable 25 and a reset operation is not executed when a USB connector is detached or when power is turned off. SOLUTION: The USB equipment 30 connected with the host 10 through the USB cable 25 for performing data communication comprises: a USB device controller 31 for receiving reset signals from the host 10 through the USB cable 25; the USB device controller 31 for determining the state of power supply executed from the host 10 through the USB cable 25; and a reset circuit 33 for executing reset when the reset signals are received and the power supply is not interrupted.
