PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package type generator set, which has a small casing and can be set in a small setting space. SOLUTION: In the package type generator set 1 comprising a gas engine 2 and a generator 3 fixed to a base floor 13 inside the casing 12, the gas engine 2 uses liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, and a gas cylinder G filled with liquefied petroleum gas of fuel is set separately out of the casing 12. The gas cylinder G is connected with the gas engine 2 through a rubber hose R, and the gas engine 2 is driven by supply of liquefied petroleum gas from the gas cylinder G to drive the generator 3.
