<p>The tool has a machine base, two displacement axes (2,7), a function carrier unit (1), which is movable by a displacement unit, driven by a controlled driving motor, according to a displacement path, corresponding to the displacement axis, relative to the machine base. Another displacement unit has a coupling unit (13) switchable between a connecting position and separating position, a drive section driven along another displacement path corresponding the former displacement path by the displacement of the former function carrier unit in the connecting position of the coupling unit.
