An LCD is provided to apply silicon on both ends of at least one of an upper side and a lower side of the mold frame and on a portion inside the edge of an LCD panel adjacent to the end portions so that the LCD panel and the mold frame are fixed. A backlight assembly is disposed below an LCD panel(120) for displaying an image. A mold frame houses the LCD panel and the backlight assembly therein. An adhesive liquid is coated on both ends of at least one of an upper side and a lower side of the mold frame and on a portion inside the edge of the LCD panel which is adjacent to the end portions. The protrusions(204,206) for preventing flow are formed on both ends of at least one of the upper side and the lower side of the mold frame. The protrusions are formed of the same material as the mold frame. |
