<p>The device has an air or air/fuel inlet pipe (1) connecting a cylinder head of an engine e.g. diesel engine. The pipe is divided into upper and lower parts (5, 6) by an inner separation wall (4). An orifice of the part (6) is provided for swirl of the air of air/fuel mixture and opens into an inlet chamber (2) at a close location of a peripheral wall of a cylinder (10). The orifice has a small section in a plane perpendicular to a privileged axis (AB) of the pipe. Another orifice of the part (5) fills the cylinder and opens into the chamber close to a privileged axis (GH) of the cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a method for admitting air or air/fuel mixture.</p> |
