A cover arrangement for a channel arrangement, a drainage channel, a cable channel, shaft or similar in a construction which may be installed in the ground such as to open, with a cover (20), which may be placed on a support surface of a frame (10) and which is connected to the frame such as to pivot about an axis, whereby the cover has two opposing hinge units, comprising two pivoting and fixing devices (39, 40), by means of which the cover may be hinged to two sides without tools.
