A mobile terminal capable of transferring a mode between charge mode and LDO(Low Drop Out) mode is provided to reduce production cost, improve production efficiency through a simplified production process, and efficiently use power by selectively driving either charge mode or LDO mode. A mobile terminal capable of transferring a mode between charge mode and LDO mode comprises a charge/LDO changeover unit(100) and a battery(200). The charge/LDO changeover unit(100), which selectively drives either charge mode and LDO mode according to input voltage, consists of a charge/LDO mode transfer part(110) and an LDO mode transfer control part(120). The charge/LDO mode transfer part(110) selectively drives either charge mode and LDO mode according to the output of the LDO mode transfer control part(120). If external voltage is inputted through a USB, the charge/LDO mode transfer part(110) makes the mobile terminal operated in LDO mode. If no voltage is inputted from the external, the charge/LDO mode transfer part(110) makes the mobile terminal operated in charge mode. The LDO mode transfer control part(120), if voltage is inputted from the external, supplies a high-level signal to the BIPB pin of a charge IC. In case that voltage is not inputted, the LDO mode transfer control part(120) supplies a low-level signal to the BIPB pin. |
