A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve stiffness and durability against the force or shocks applied from the outside by employing a support member for preventing a bending and twist of a chassis base effectively. A plasma display panel(10) implements an image. A circuit unit(17) generates an electrical signal for driving the plasma display panel. A side of a signal transfer unit(18) is connected to the circuit unit and the other side is connected to the plasma display panel in order to transfer the signal generated from the circuit unit to the plasma display panel. The signal transfer unit includes an electron device(19). A cover member(21) covers the electron device. A front of a chassis base(13) is coupled to the plasma display panel and a rear thereof is coupled to the circuit unit. The chassis base has a bent unit(13a). A supporting member(16) supports the chassis base and includes a recess unit where the bent unit of the chassis base is inserted.
