A generator is provided to improve a temperature characteristic and a generation capacity of the generator by reducing the heat generated at a winding of a rotor and discharging the heat. A generator includes an exciter stator(10), an exciter rotor(20), a diode(52), a generator rotor(30), and a generator stator(40). The exciter stator receives an external power to generate a fixed magnetic field. The exciter rotor rotates inside the exciter stator, and generates and outputs a first induction current by the fixed magnetic field. The diode rectifies the first induction current. The generator rotor integrally rotates with the exciter rotor, and receives the rectified first induction current to generate a rotation magnetic field. The generator stator is arranged outside the generator rotor, and generates a second induction current by the rotation magnetic field. The generator rotor has a winding(34) which is made of aluminum and has the cross section of a square shape.
