An organic EL display device is provided to prevent an organic EL layer from being damaged by preventing a desiccant inside a sealing can from contacting with the organic EL layer. An organic EL(Electro-Luminescent) layer is arranged in a matrix formation on a transparent substrate(1). A voltage is applied on the organic EL layer to display an image. A surface of the transparent substrate where the organic EL layer is formed, is enclosed by applying a sealing agent on a rear glass plate(9). The rear glass plate includes plural concave portions(91). A thick portion between the concave portions is formed to traverse a screen, from a planar point of view. A desiccant(5) is arranged on the concave portion. |
